Prestige WorldRide
The Journey

Every single day, for seven months, this journey threw a different challenge at me until eventually it decided the see if I could survive at truck at 60mph... Thankfully I did. One thing I realised as I made my way through 23 countries and 12,000 miles of cycling is how lucky I was to be able to take on such a challenge in the first place.

The Charities

It took 7 months to cycle 12,000 miles and it took the same amount of time to raise £12,000 for two fantastic charities - thank you.

This money will be spent on securing university level eduction for several people in The Gambia and also to purchase important medical treatment and life enhancing equipment for children in the UK.

The Sponsors

Several companies got involved in the sponsorship for this ride, all of which I appreciate hugely. The total cost of this challenge was £8,000 - without the support of these businesses I wouldn't have been afforded the platform to raise £12,000 and help the people who really need and deserve that money. Find out more about these businesses below.

The Bike

Condor of London, are the best bespoke bike manufactures in the UK. Their high quality bike fitting and well engineered bike got me 12,000 miles around the world in all conditions from 40 degree Australian heat to sub zero Canadian blizzards.

The Cyclist

I dreamed of circumnavigating the world by bike for many years, eventually I got the chance to pursue this dream. Unfortunately, this dream ended in what seemed like the blink of an eye. There is unfinished business that I aim to attend to sooner rather than later.
